ALIGNED signifies "an ordered structure." As the hexagonal facets follow the ring's shape and are expressed three-dimensionally, light does not reflect uniformly; instead, shadows and light gently shift with the angle. We have overlaid the philosophy of "In Praise of Shadows," which establishes beauty through shadow, onto this structure.
